But you hurt me way too bad
I had to let you out
Let out everything I had
I fought you for an eternity
I struggled with the pain
I tryed everything to let you go
But somehow you remain
My pain then turned to anger
-you simply could not stay
I soon forgot the agony
As you slowly slipped away
Finally I'm rid of you
Finally you died
A memory hanging in the air
Of how foul we are inside
Now I'm free - I'm liberated
To do whatever I see fit

I'm still new to writting poetry. I had a hard time deciding what catagory to put this in. I'm not quite sure how to explain this peom, but its kind of about a girl. I'd really appreciate a critique... even if you just tell me what you thought.

I really like this. I like how it changed from sounding sad and kind of helpless at the beginning, to finally letting go and being angry. It flows very well, too.
